Simply Sunday~ Southwest Soup!

Brrr, it is cold here in Texas and I had to spend all day and night outside at a stadium watching my daughter's Colorguard Competition, so I thought I would whip up a pot of this easy Southwest Soup. I got the recipe from a school cafeteria about 17 years ago!

Southwest Soup
1 lb hamburger
1 medium onion chopped
1 package Taco Seasoning
1 package dry Buttermilk Ranch Dressing
1 can Pinto Beans
1 can Corn with juice
1 can Black Beans
1 can Rotel Tomatoes
1 can Diced Tomatoes

Brown beef and onion. Add seasoning. Put other ingredients in a pot and add beef mixture. Bring to a boil then simmer on low as long as you want. The longer, the tastier. Enjoy and stay warm! Hugs! Barb

Sounds yummy, Barb. Wish it was cold enough here to make it. We were so excited it was 69 this morning .... for us that's a cold front!

I'll be in Wisconsin in a couple of weeks so I'm taking this with me and I'll make it for dinner out there.

Thanks for sharing. hugs, eileen
