April 26th was Oreo Cookie's Special Day!! This was the day we adopted her, one year ago. I remember my husband calling and telling us he saw a Black and White Shih Tzu and wanted us to come see her! We could not believe it, as he did not want the first dog (but loves him now!) We had been talking about getting a little Black and White one and naming it Oreo ever since we got Meatball. So, we all packed in the car, including Meatball, and went up to see this pup. My husband was smitten in love. We brought her home and she fit right in. The year had it's ups and downs. Oreo had many near death experiences but is such a little trouper. We celebrated her Special Day with lots of doggie cookies for her and cake and icecream for the family.

that's so sweet. We did that the first couple of years after getting Bandit but it's kind of faded off now. Oreo is such a cutie!

Awww... What a little doll. Happy Birthday Oreo! I remember some of Oreo's battles this past year and am so glad he is doing so well now.
