Stampin' Up Dark and Dreary Halloween Card!

Oh this was so much fun to make and I just whipped it right up!
Here are the materials I used ...all from the Stampin' Up, of course!

Supplies from the Holiday Mini Catalog!

Dark and Dreary Clear Mount Stamp Set
Spider Web Embossing Folder

From the Main Catalog:
Vellum Paper but I should have used our Vellum Cardstock
Whisper White Kraft Ink but you can also use our Vanilla Shimmer Smooch!
Basic Black Ink
Sponge or Sponge Daubers
Rich Razzelberry and Basic Black Cardstock
Whisper White Cardstock {to stamp on}
Basic Black 5/8" Satin Ribbon
Bitty Bat Punch
Basic Rhinestones

Directions:
Super Easy- super fun!
Just run your embossing folder through the Big Shot, then spray with Vanilla Shimmer Smooch or dab with Very Vanilla Kraft ink. Then sponge around the edges with Basic Black ink.

Embossed web goes on an A-2 sized card cut with Razzelberry Cardstock

Stamp your image on Whisper White , cut out,  adhere on black card stock with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Cut out bats with punch and adhere with Dimensionals. You can spray those with the Smooch too!
Add your ribbon and accent with a Rhinestone. There you go!

To order any of these supplies,  email me or just click here: http://www.snowmanlover.stampinup.net

FYI- I took the photo on a piece of paper from the Nite Owl Designer Series Paper- love this paper pack!

Stampin' Up House of Haunts Card

I just love this card! I saw it at my friend Kathi's last year. I have admired it for so long. I went to her house the other day and she taught me how to make this card. It was her design but I made it. Isn't it fun? You can't tell but the house is all shiny, as it is embossed.

Stamp Set used: House of Haunts- love this set!
Techniques: Emboss/Resist, Reflective Technique and Masking.
It was really fun and easy to make!

Stampin' Up Founder's Circle~ Day 4 Final Event

Well you saw the photos of our Pillow Gift from the night before, right? Well the next morning we get all ready in our bowling shirts (I have not ironed in ages) and load the bus. I am thinking we are going bowling, right? Well I was wrong and so were many others. We were going to the Convention Center for a really nice lunch and Wii bowling!

Loading the bus

 Susan and Cara from Canada

Shelli's gorgeous and sweet daughter, Chele
Our darling table

Our placemats

Jill and I. Jill is from Pennsylvania and so sweet! We rode the buses together quite a bit! She was one of my table partners and team mates (our group had to wear the white scarves, mine is in my hair)

Time to bowl! Shelli was on our team and at our table and she was a blast!
Wendy, Shelli, Debbie, me, Shelli's mom, Pat, Jenny, Jill and Meg- The Paper Daisies group! Each group also had to make a cheer and ours was the absolute worst! None of us, including Shelli, wanted to get up there and cheer in front of everyone! Some of the cheers were so hilarious. Here it is a week later and those crazy chants are all still in my mind! You can view them on You Tube by typing in Founder's Circle Cheer Competition.

Pat, Sara and Shelli- Shelli's beautiful mom and daughter! Look at those smiles!

I popped into the Utah Regional Convention next door so I could meet Bridget's SU demonstrators- Kira and Scott- a brother sister duo!

Back to the hotel for a quick dinner buffet and then board the bus for Tuachan where we enjoyed George Gerswhin's "Crazy for You". It was great!
 The Scenery was gorgeous!

Our two darling organizers, Glenda and Meg!

Back home for pillow gifts!
Wow, look at this lovely sweater! It is "so Shelli" with the lace and ribbon trim and look at all the work that went into it!

I love the darling box it came in! Check out the sleeve! Yep, this is a rubber stamp!

Next morning.  I just had to get this photo of Fanny, the French Canadian girl who only spoke French. I gave her this little flag that the cashier at TJMax had given me earlier that day when I went with Cara.

What a great trip this has been! Absolutely unforgettable!! We were treated like royalty. I am so crazy about the company I work, hmm, play for!!! Thank you Shelli and SU staff!

Thank you for following me this week for Founder's Circle. I hope you stay on as a regular follower!

Stay tuned next week for some  Spooky & Fun Halloween cards!

Stampin' Up Founder's Circle Day 3- Pajama Party Card Swap

The 3rd night was our Pajama Party Card Swap! What a blast!
Prior to that I met with my new Canadian friends,  Susan and Cara to go to the mall but first a stop in  the Hospitality room. Here are the goodies for the day that I passed on!

Susan and Cara from Canada were so much fun to hang around with

The Stampin' Up home office staff waited on us hand and foot the entire time. Here is a photo of these crazy ladies!

This is Fanny. She is from Canada as well. I asked to take her photo. She only speaks French.

Here we are sitting on the "50's style couch in the lobby waiting for our bus to take us to dinner.

Dinner at the Panama Grill with Denise, Audra, Colleen, Cara, Susan, Shari, myself and Mary Ann

Back to our rooms to get into our Pajamas. The Party starts at 8 pm! Here are my 135 swaps! They took me weeks to make. I just love our little owl punch!

Upon entering the room, they handed us some popcorn. I said, "no thank you" but they insisted as it was not popcorn at all but a beautiful journal and pen  inside the popcorn box!

Here is our wonderful staff! They either slept in their uniforms or worked through each night!

Shelli is so busy getting her swaps ready to share with her gorgeous and sweet daughters Sara and Chele'.
They did not make cards but made these darling cloth bags (our fabric we sell)  filled with candy.

Bonnie and I. What a blast that lady is. I laughed at EVERYTHING and ANYTHING that lady said!
I am wearing purple sock monkey pajama pants and sock monkey slippers but do not have a photo of me.

Before the swap we had a business "share". I sat with Mary Ellen and Kristin K. They served real popcorn and bottles of old fashioned kinds of soda. I skipped on that too, so don't ask me how I gained 3 lbs!

Mary Ellen and I

Here is Susan with some things she made out of our fabric

And Dawn with some Pajamas made out of our Fabric!

I don't have a photo of us lining throughout the hotel in a loooooooong row, but I have seen other blogs and I am in their photos of the card swap.

After the Swap, I sat around and talked with Shelli. She is sooo great! Then back to the room. Here is our Pillow Gift! The box is so cute and I even took all of our boxes home!

Hmm, I wonder what is in store for us tomorrow as the note says to wear this and our team scarves and be down in the lobby by noon.

Whadathink?  I am thinking bowling and pizza???

Stay tuned to see tomorrow what Day 4 will bring! In the meantime I am back home and here are the Swap Boards I made up to share with you!
