A Special Elephant for Summer Brown!

HI there!
This is a special card that I made for a very special lady! Last summer while surfing the net for Cake decorating sites, I came across a really neat lady, named Summer Brown. She no longer has her cake blog but has a really fun, quirky, humorous and whimsical blog (not craft related, but all about her Southern self living her life in the Big Apple ) I "befriended" her via blogland after seeing her post about her battle with infertility.
Summer also has a blog called Calling All Storks, B is for Baby Blog.
(See blog button on the left)
She and her husband, Adam, are  now in the process of trying to find a baby to adopt! Yipee, I am so excited! Being an adoptive mom myself, this thrills me and I want to help her find a baby! today!!

I saw on her blog that she wanted to decorate her room in elephants, so I got this cart just for her for the Elephant on it, just to make her a card!
I had to wait until she received the card before posting. She was thrilled with it.
Here it is!

P.S.
I put this card on last night, but just woke up realizing that this is also the day we adopted our little girl. 12 years ago today we boarded our plane to go to another country to pick our little Pookie up!
Today we celebrate what is called her "Special Day".

May Summer and Adam have many "Special Days" to celebrate.
Wishing them "Tons" of luck!!

Later today, I was at a store and met another adoptive mom, Alison, and she shared her story and I cried. Summer, I know it will work out for you, Summer. We always believed it was not a matter of "IF" but a matter of "When". The right baby is getting ready to be yours, it just takes a matter of time to make it be the "right match".

Hello all! Thank you Barb and to you all for such lovely well wishes. I apologize for not getting over here yesterday. Life was so busy!

I love my card and have it on my dresser so that I am reminded how lucky I am and will be.

Thank you Barb! I am going to post it on my blog tomorrow.
