The other day I got a call from someone I did not know and she really wanted to learn how to make cards! She said her family decided she needed a hobby. She came over and we really had a lot of fun. This is what we created.
I showed her how to make an A-2 Sized Card and use many layers. I told her I like lots of layers of sheets on my bed for different patterns and that is what I like to do on cards. We took it simple and I showed her step by step.
We used 2 layers of Card Stock- two of the New In Colors- Lucky Limeade and Wisteria Wonder. For Patterned paper we use one of my Favorites- Berry Blossoms. Stamp set is Fruit and Flowers which goes great with this. Markers were used to stamp the cute little strawberry. Wisteria Wonder Ruffled Ribbon makes a wonderful embellishment.
By the way, our Patterned Paper during the month of August is purchase 3 packs and get 1 FREE! Click Here to order!

I am a St.Louis/Kansas City girl living in Dallas! I am in my late 50's and the mom of two wonderful kids, ages 18 and 16 and two precious puppies, a bunny and a turtle! I have the greatest hubby! I "retired" from teaching when we moved from Missouri/Kansas to Texas in 1994. One and then two years later, we adopted our babies from the same beautiful country. Thank you for stopping by my blog. Come visit often. I would truly love for you to leave me a comment. Thanks! Barb!
