Simply Sunday~ A DIY project

HI friends, last summer I decided to get rid of a small desk for my kids that was in my husband's office. All they did was put their junk on it and not use it as a desk.
I wanted something I had seen but at Pottery Barn they were too expensive and even so at thrift shops. I came up with this idea and my husband put it together!

It is a place for the kids to put their coats, shoes and back packs.

First I found the bench at Steinmart. I had the idea to get some Wainscotting at the hardware store and paint it black. I then found the frame with hooks at Hobby Lobby. My husband put it together and it is a perfect place for them to not take up too much room in his office. Hope you enjoyed. It ended up costing about $35 for the frame half off, the bench was on sale for $40 and the wainscoting and paint was about $25 or so.

Have a happy Sunday and thank you for stopping by!
