HI friends, I like to post recipes on Sundays but I made this soup today and thought I would share. Do you believe we had 77 degrees today in Dallas!! This is actually a Weight Watchers 0 point Soup but I omitted the frozen green beans and added tomatoes, hamburger and pasta. Not sure how many points but it is still a good and hearty lo-cal meal.
Recipe: cook carrots and one onion in olive oil. Add 4 cloves of garlic. Add 1 teaspoon of Kosher Salt, 1 t of Oregano and 1 t of dried Basil. Add half a cabbage and 6 cups of broth. I used both chicken and beef broth. Add 2 Tablespoons of Tomato Paste. That is it. I also added a can of tomatoes and some cooked hamburger and macaroni! Click to shop Online- even in your PJ's!

I am a St.Louis/Kansas City girl living in Dallas! I am in my late 50's and the mom of two wonderful kids, ages 18 and 16 and two precious puppies, a bunny and a turtle! I have the greatest hubby! I "retired" from teaching when we moved from Missouri/Kansas to Texas in 1994. One and then two years later, we adopted our babies from the same beautiful country. Thank you for stopping by my blog. Come visit often. I would truly love for you to leave me a comment. Thanks! Barb!
