No crafts today

Hi there. Sorry no posts today. Today was the kid's first day back at school. For those of you that know me, you know how tough it always is for me. I have to say, it doesn't get easier, as this year it hit me the hardest. I always cry a lot. They do not know but I bawl my eyes out after they leave (and before they go).
Hoping tomorrow is better.
Today was a "terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day" (From a children's book)

On a good note, I do always try to find something positive, I had a wonderful morning at my mb friend's Carol M's house. She runs a day care and I asked if I could stop by after dropping the kids off at school for a hug. She had coffee and muffins waiting for me and the hug too!! The best part of the entire day was seeing the most precious kids at her day care.

I also had lunch with a great friend, Kari. We meet about four times a year and got to catch up.

I want to thank my great, great mb buddies, Carol, Lorrie and Connie for helping me get through today!!

Awww hugs to you, Barb. I thought I was the only emotional person who cried when he went to school (when I had to go back too) But they'll always know how much you love them and they carry that to school too.

Hope tomorrow is a better day!

hugs

Hey Barb!
This is Carol M's daughter. I saw the cards with M & M's and LOVE those!! How adorable. i will have to make those for my son's teachers this year. Fun fun! You should check out Bakerella's blog (it is a link off mine) she did something cute with m & m's and cookie mix in bell jars.

Anyway, cute blog. I will have to mark it on mine to visit.

awwww, Barb! I missed this yesterday. We love you, too! You'd be there for us in a minute and you, my friend, are a true treasure.
