Stampin' Up! Letters to Santa Candy Card!!

Oh I am so excited about this! Did you ever have one of those days where you just can't create! I have been up since 7am trying to work on too many things! My Christmas Workshop, My Fall Workshop and a special Project for a customer request. Well it is almost midnight and I finally created something today, despite being at it all day!!

Here you go! A customer had a request for me to design something for her co-workers- shhh, don't tell anyone. She wanted something to put little candy canes in as a small token at Christmas.  This is what finally popped in my brain at almost midnight!

I used our Letters to Santa Designer Paper and here it is closed

Now start to slowly open it by removing the "Belly Band"

Next, open it all the way!!!

All this took was 1 sheet of Designer Paper from Letters to Santa Pack and a Sheet of 8.5x11 Cardstock to make the card/candy holder!!!!

The only thing extra I used was a bit of Early Expresso Cardstock and some silver brads, that is it!  Oh and a bit of Cherry Cobbler Quilted Ribbon and of course some candy canes. It would look cuter with one big candy cane but this is what I happened to have at midnight on a rainy Sunday night!

Ok, now I am finally go to sleep. When I wake up in the morning, I hope she has seen it and likes my design.  I had so much fun making it and even designed it and figured out where to score it all on my own. I had searched and searched for ideas for her and finally came up with this with my very OWN idea!!

VERY CUTE!!
NOT create? Nope, my problem is I'm over creative LOL and have a hard time narrowing it down to what to create. I'm always trying to out do my projects.

Love it Barb! You need to come burn some midnight oil over here! Those two sheets of DSP I didn't really know what to do with, so your project is awesome!

I love your card .... Sometimes I have to walk away from my craft room because I try so hard to come up with an idea I get frustrated and can't do anything.... I'm horrible at choosing papers and colors and it takes me forever to do a simple card some days...Some times if I walk away for a while and then come back the ideas flow much easier....Love Love Love your card ....
